We made our grand debut in Cameroon on the 14th of May 2022 at the Save The Children Alliance Orphanage in Limbe, South West Region.
It was a heartwarming and memorable event that commenced with an introduction of who We Care International is and the works we do. A presentation of material needs donation to the orphanage then ensued.
The joy on the faces of the children as they received the clothing and food donations was stirring to say the least.
The event was concluded with the remarks of the orphanage’s Overseer and accompanied by a presentation of an impressive body lotion product hand made by the orphanage to We Care International.
We couldn’t have chosen a better fashion to launch as the quality time spent with the children in the orphanage reinforced why our work is crucial and empowered us for the projects in the coming years.
We Care Cameroon’s work will centre on helping the people who have been displaced in the North Western part of Cameroon as a result of the conflict to become self reliant in the start of a new life.
We will supply core relief resources such as food, clothing, cooking utensils and other basic material needs to the households in the new settlements. We will also support them with education and training for employment.
In addition, we will offer charitable donations in orphanages and help bring street children into homes.
