Terms and Conditions of Participation in the Global Conference on Poverty Reduction Strategies, Global Efforts, and Sustainability

Welcome to the Global Conference on Poverty Reduction Strategies, Global Efforts, and Sustainability, organized by “We Care International” (hereinafter referred to as “the Organization”). The conference is scheduled to take place over three days in August 2024, culminating in a gala night and fundraising event. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for participation in the conference and associated events. By registering for this conference, you agree to these terms and conditions in their entirety.

1. Registration and Participation:

  • All attendees must complete the registration form and pay any applicable fees to confirm their participation.
  • Registration is open to members, individuals, corporate organizations, companies, and participants from all over the world.
  • Participants must select the events they wish to attend during the registration process. Availability for certain events may be limited and will be allocated on a first-come, firstserved basis.

2. Payment and Cancellation Policy:

  • Detailed information regarding registration fees, payment methods, and deadlines will be provided during the registration process.
  • Cancellations must be submitted in writing to the Organization. A cancellation fee may apply depending on the reason and date of cancellation notice.
  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 30 days of receiving a valid cancellation notice.

3. Conduct and Behaviors:

  • Participants are expected to always conduct themselves professionally and respectfully during the conference.
  • The Organization reserves the right to remove any participant from the conference for behavior deemed inappropriate, disruptive, or offensive, without refund.

4. Liability and Insurance:

  • The Organization will not be liable for personal injuries, losses, or damages incurred by participants during the conference.
  • Participants are responsible for their own travel and health insurance.

5. Intellectual Property:

  • All conference materials and presentations are the intellectual property of the Organization or the respective speakers.
  • Recording, reproduction, or distribution of conference materials without explicit permission is strictly prohibited.

6. Data Protection and Privacy:

  • Personal information collected during the registration process will be used solely for the purpose of organizing and conducting the conference.
  • The Organization is committed to protecting participants’ privacy and will not share personal information with third parties without consent.

7. Changes and Cancellation by the Organization:

  • The Organization reserves the right to make changes to the conference program, venue, or schedule at any time.
  • In the unlikely event of conference cancellation by the Organization, registered participants will receive a full refund of the registration fees.

8. Gala Night and Fundraising Event:

  • The third day of the conference will feature a gala night and fundraising event. Participation in this event may require a separate registration and fee.
  • Funds raised during the event will support various projects in Canada, Africa, and other countries.

9. Governing Law:

  • These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada.

10. Agreement:

  • By completing the registration form, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
